When I think of this word, I think of my father. Gentle in spirit…kind of heart…on his knees when he was standing up. A real man of God. The college when he attended (and where my daugher attended) has wooden letters in the main auditorium that say, “holiness unto the Lord”. I think holiness is a high goal. Seems like in todays church it is in short supply. Modern christians seem to want all of the feel good stuff and the assurance of salvation but are not so interested in cleaning up their own lives and walking with god in holiness. Know what I mean. I am from a Methodist background and holiness is part of my heratige. I don’t mean a lot of legalistic rules,,,,just seeking Gods heart and His attitude. Anyonw want to jump in?
