When the Passion of the Christ came out, the question arose, how could a Loving God let such a terrible thing happen to His own son. And as I prayed for my sons who were going through serious crisis of their own, I wondered how could I trust God to help my sons when he let such things happen to his own. But then I realized, it was not so much a Father and Son thing that happened on calvary. It was God Himself going through that ordeal for his children, for all of his creation. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were present on that Hill, as One.
